      Daniel Cho R.I.P

      Dear friends,

       

      My dear friend and amazing cello player Daniel Cho was taken from this world suddenly on July 6th 2010 way too early.

      He left behind a wife and little girl. Some of the ticket money from my show on August 5th will go toward his memorial fund.

      Dan's resume as an arranger and cellist included work for Regina Spektor, Katy Perry, John Mayer, Mandy Moore, Racheal Yamagata and Coldplay. Cho also had a rock band of his own called Cooper, whose songs have been featured on MTV's 'The Hills' and NBC's 'The Biggest Loser.'

      In addition to his musical career, Cho was also a correspondent for ESPN Soccernet, where he's been covering South Korea's World Cup team. His original cello and piano compositions can be heard at his MySpace page.
